Is there nothing the Serbian people can do to save their lives and their country?

Q: It appears that the Serbian government is backing out of the peace
treaty and the bombing will continue.
Is there nothing the Serbian people can do to save their lives and their
country?
The present issues seem to make Serbian government look right, for a
change. The G8 plan said "United Nations", and who's there at the
Macedonian border? NATO. No UN flags, no blue berets. Yugoslav
generals seem to have demanded UN instead, and the Russians and the
Chinese seem to have backed them up. There was a recent comment at
Stratfor which went into
detail about this.
As to saving the country, if it was lost, it was lost ten years ago.
It just took that long to realize. If it's not lost, well, there's
hope. The country will survive - but nobody knows in what shape. I
hope that future will not prove me wrong, but by the time this answer
is posted, I think the bombing may belong to the past already.
