This section of the FreeSerbia Web Site contains complete material collected
and created by the Free Serbia Web Team during the bombardment in the spring
of 1999. The "war" part of our Web Site is in its authentic form, just the
way we created it at the time. It contains already well-known yet shocking
archive of civilian targets and casualties, which was on innumerable
occasions exploited by the regime's Web sites for disseminating its
propaganda, then a complete archive of replies to your questions in the
Forum, testimonies of ordinary people, analytical essays, documents, laws
and press releases from the period of the bombardment... And of course, the
answer to the question - who are we indeed?

We are a group of people from Serbia who have been struggling in the past decade for democracy and a better future through various political parties, non governmental organizations, student organizations and other means of political activity. Our goal is to present the current events in Yugoslavia from our own point of view. We shall try our best to present facts as they are, without any censorship or propaganda of any kind.
We feel that Yugoslavia should have its place in family of modern European societies. Because of that, we are actively participating in struggle for our country return in flows of European civilization. This web site is just one in long line of efforts leading to this goal.
If you are interested in learning more about us, our plans and activities, please read our FAQ.
